Special camera settings are not so special underwater

I kept clicking the shutter, the flash was firing, but something just didn’t feel right. It was a gorgeous day at Colombia Deep in Cozumel and my model was getting sick of swimming back and forth for the perfect pose. I then realized that the night before I had been playing around with camera settings to attempt to get a multiple exposure of the lighthouse just up the coast at Scuba Club Cozumel. The full moon and a little bit of fog was the perfect setting, but I didn’t get any great shots of the lighthouse this time.

Lesson learned…Always reset your camera back to the underwater settings before putting it into the housing. Regardless, I did get this kind of cool shot as a result of my strange settings.
